About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 1 for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six, seeking Districtwide Strategic Communications Consultant Services for miscellaneous projects in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The RFP (Project No. DOT-RFP-26-6197SD) is for a three-year contract with proposals due on August 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The total contract amount is $1.5 million, with an expected annual allocation of $500,000, and will result in awarding one consultant for the entire contract period.

The addendum provides clarifications and responses to 24 questions from potential proposers, covering key aspects such as staffing requirements, licensing, software tools, reporting expectations, and contract details. Notable clarifications include: one in-house Community Outreach Specialist is required to be full-time on-site at District 6 headquarters, software and application costs must be secured by the vendor, travel and toll costs are not reimbursable, and the consultant is expected to propose KPI/ROE (Return on Engagement) reporting formats. The document also confirms that a prime consultant with a satellite presence in Miami-Dade, Monroe, or Broward Counties is acceptable, and an individual can serve in two personnel roles if they meet the qualifications.
