About this file

Addendum 2, dated 12/16/2024, is issued by Brewster Thornton Group Architects, LLP for the Walley School Interior Package project located at 260 High Street in Bristol, Rhode Island. The addendum modifies the original bidding documents from 10/22/2024 and addresses several key changes to the project manual and drawings, including modifications to Section 01 5000, deletion of specific details, and revisions to stair finishing requirements. The document includes responses to contractor questions about existing on-site contractors, electrical coordination, temporary facilities, project signage, and bid date extensions.

The addendum indicates that multiple contractors are currently working on the building, including Westway Construction, F & S Electric, and Temptec Mechanical. The project involves interior package work for the Walley School rehabilitation, which is part of a larger community resources and senior center conversion. Notably, the bid date has been extended, and contractors are advised to coordinate with existing awarded contractors. The scope includes refinishing stairs, coordinating electrical services, and working within a historically significant building district that will require periodic reviews by historic preservation authorities.
