ADDENDUM NO. 1: Questions & Answers Summary
This is an addendum to RFP No. CM-26-738 issued by the City of Long Beach's Department of Financial Management on May 12, 2026, pertaining to as-needed low-speed vehicle (LSV) rental services for citywide events. The addendum addresses questions regarding vehicle specifications and registration requirements. Low-speed vehicles are not required to be registered with license plates, though proposers should note in their proposals if any vehicles in their fleet are registered. The quantity of vehicles requested will vary depending on the specific event requirements, necessitating flexible service delivery from the selected vendor.
Proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and submitting it with their proposals; failure to do so may result in disqualification. The City emphasizes that only written communications from the designated City Contact through official channels will be binding, and no oral communications or unofficial contacts outside the specified process will be considered valid. This addendum supersedes relevant language in the original RFP and modifies the terms under which vendors must submit their bids.
