About this file
This is a Solicitation Addendum issued by the North Carolina Department of Administration for a Boiler Maintenance and Repair Services contract (Solicitation Number 13-DOA1443812819). The addendum modifies the original solicitation by waiving the mandatory site visit requirement due to low participation and scheduling an additional urged and cautioned site visit on March 11, 2025, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time in the Facility Management Division Conference Room in Raleigh. The updated solicitation schedule includes key dates such as submitting written questions by March 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, state responses to questions by March 14, 2025, bid submission deadline on March 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET, and a planned contract award on May 1, 2025.
The addendum emphasizes that vendor representatives are urged and cautioned to visit the site to understand conditions affecting work performance, and that any additional information shared during the site visit must be confirmed by a written addendum to be considered part of the solicitation. The document highlights that bid submission constitutes compliance with site visit requirements, and vendors will not be allowed to make allowances for unreported conditions that a prudent vendor would recognize as potentially impacting work performance. The solicitation is for boiler maintenance and repair services for the State Complex in Raleigh, NC, with the goal of finding a qualified vendor to provide annual preventative maintenance and repairs to boiler systems.
