About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for District-Wide Maintenance Rating Program (MRP), Sign, Guardrail, Boardwalk, and Attenuator Inspection and Inventory Support Services. The RFP (DOT-RFP-25-7020-LV) is scheduled to open on April 14, 2025, and seeks a vendor to perform comprehensive infrastructure inspections across multiple counties. The addendum modifies the original RFP by expanding the scope of services to include all interstates in Pinellas and Citrus Counties, correcting a link in the Maintenance of Traffic section, and providing technical clarifications about existing inventory systems and reports.
The addendum includes technical questions and answers, revealing that while no engineer's estimate exists for this RFP, the Department historically spends approximately $425,000 annually on these services. The document indicates that a file transfer application (FTA) will provide the last three MRP reports and inspection reports, and notes that geographic information system (GIS) access is restricted to Department personnel through an automated access request form. Proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning a completed form by the proposal opening date, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification. The contract appears to be structured with comprehensive reporting requirements and specific inspection protocols for various transportation infrastructure elements.
