About this file
This is Addendum #1 to Request for Sealed Bid #295-TC30023 issued by Washington State University (WSU) for corn silage procurement. The addendum, dated February 10, 2025, clarifies that WSU requires 1,250 tons of chopped corn to be delivered to the WSU dairy facility and stored on-site in Corn Silage Bags, as they have no other storage options. Delivery can be made either in one period or in split loads, but must be completed before late fall, prior to winter or heavy rain onset.
The addendum specifies that farmers are responsible for bagging the silage on-site since they possess the proper storage expertise. The document maintains that all other dates, specifications, terms, and conditions from the original bid remain unchanged. The WSU logo and "World Class. Face to Face." tagline appear on the document header.

Request for Sealed Bid # 295-TC30023 Corn Silage
ADDENDUM # 1
THE PURPOSE OF THIS ADENDMENT IS TO ANSWER QUESTIONS
February 10,2025
1: Are you wanting the chopped corn delivered to the WSU dairy and to have it ensilaged there, or are you wanting it to be ensilaged and stored off site and delivered as a finished product?
We want it chopped and delivered to the WSU Dairy and stored at the Dairy in Corn Silage Bags. We do not have any other way to store than to have it bagged on site.
2. Do you want all 1250 tons delivered at one time or over a given period of time?
Farmers can delivery around one period of time, or can do split loads which ever works for the grower. Just need on site before late fall before winter or heavy rain starts.
3. If it is being delivered to WSU as raw product will they bag or pile it on their site and with their equipment or would we be responsible for that?
The farmer normally bags it for us on site since they know the proper way to store.
All other dates, specifications, terms and conditions remain unchanged.
