About this file

This is Addendum #1 to Request for Proposal No. 250000001005, issued by the Michigan Department of Education on January 22, 2025, which clarifies section 4.6 regarding project management and monitoring requirements for a videographer contract. The RFP seeks a contractor to film, edit, and deliver promotional videos for the #proudMIeducator campaign. The contractor must submit a comprehensive project plan that demonstrates the ability to produce videos replicating the style, graphics, and look of existing #proudMIeducator videos, including required personnel, necessary resources, and a proposed schedule for monthly video completion and accompanying promotional materials within a campaign season. The project schedule must specify potential filming dates, editing timelines, first and second draft delivery dates, and final draft delivery following Michigan Department of Education review and acceptance.

The addendum establishes that project management and monitoring are subject to change based on the MDE Program Manager's evaluation and will be conducted on an annual basis. The contractor will operate under the direction and control of the State's Program Manager. Contract monitoring criteria include quality of deliverables against specifications, timeliness of delivery, cost control, staff knowledge and competency, and accuracy of invoicing. Deliverables will be evaluated annually for product quality, service quality, performance, and cost control. The addendum requires bidders to provide a sample project plan and submit a response acknowledging how their proposal meets all specified requirements, with this response to be referenced in the final bid submission.
