About this file

This document is an Addendum containing questions and answers for RFP #11-25 issued by the Connecticut transit organization (NET) seeking an Accounting Software Implementation Service Provider to transition from Great Plains to a new solution. The RFP solicitation requests proposals for software, implementation services, data migration, training, support, and documentation. Proposals may be submitted by email to gguerrera@ct-transwb.com, and no extension to the submission deadline will be granted. Training must be conducted on-site at NET facilities, while demonstration, implementation, and support services may be delivered remotely. No specific response date, due date, or award date is referenced in this addendum document.

The organization has no established budget for this project and does not require bonding. NET operates with 182 full-time employees, 2 part-time employees, and no seasonal staff, with 146 unionized employees across 2 separate bargaining units and 37 non-union employees. The organization currently uses a single FEIN (06-0474090) and prefers solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, though Microsoft 365 Online with Single Sign-On is not currently enabled. The software must support required modules for payroll processing and position management, with 10 full financial users, 2 limited users, and a need for 5-10 additional user licenses for potential expansion. Future integration capability with time and attendance modules is necessary, though current data migration of operational metrics (miles, vehicle hours, driver hours, calls, trips, and ridership) is not required. The original Great Plains implementation was conducted by Alan Sleath of Aristo Data Systems prior to 2016, with subsequent support provided by CAL Business Solutions Inc.
