About this file

Addendum 1 for RFP 102-263 is issued by Isothermal Community College, documenting the mandatory pre-bid site visit for a campus-wide access control system procurement. The addendum lists 11 attendee companies, including A3 Communications, Appalachian Network Services, and Brady Integrated Security, who participated in the site visit on March 18, 2025. The document introduces four key supplemental specifications for the project, including a requirement that the vendor's proposed system must detect and alert for propped doors, and specific installation details for the Construction Trade Building, such as utilizing a ceiling-mounted controller with an available power outlet and the vendor's responsibility for running a network cable from the controller to the IDF.

The addendum provides technical clarification to potential bidders, offering additional context for the access control system implementation. While the document does not include pricing or budgetary information, it demonstrates the college's detailed approach to procurement by specifying precise technical requirements and installation expectations. The document is signed by Heather Maples, the Procurement & Equipment Coordinator, and serves to formally communicate updated specifications to all interested vendors, ensuring a comprehensive and clear understanding of the project's technical parameters prior to proposal submission.
