About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Invitation to Bid (ITB) DOT-ITB-25-9083-CA for Furnish and Install of Audio and Video Equipment in the Burns Auditorium. The addendum revises the original solicitation, updating the Scope of Services and providing additional details about the project. The bid involves furnishing and installing a comprehensive audiovisual system, including six owner-furnished Samsung QE98C displays, 14 AV over IP video encoder/decoders, one Microsoft Teams Room UC system, two ceiling-mounted PTZ cameras, multiple wireless microphones, audio DSP, amplifiers, an assisted listening system, and a control system. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 14, 2025, at 9:30 AM, with bids due by May 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The contract term is expected to begin upon execution and continue through June 30, 2025.
The project has a budget of $180,000 and requires TAA-compliant equipment with no alternatives or substitutions permitted. The vendor will be responsible for all installation, including new cabling, power connections, and working with FDOT's Facilities office for any necessary wall patching or painting. The addendum includes a one-year on-site warranty with next-day in-person response, and two maintenance visits per year are preferred. The project will involve working in an active state meeting facility, potentially requiring after-hours and weekend work. The bid emphasizes the need for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) functionality in addition to the Microsoft Teams Room system, and the vendor must provide programming code for all systems.
