About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) DLA-2025.05 issued by the State of Florida, Department of Legal Affairs, Office of the Attorney General, for Moving Services. Addendum No. 1, dated September 17, 2025, provides clarification and answers to 21 questions submitted by potential bidders. The moving project involves relocating office furniture, electronics, and personal belongings across multiple locations in St. Petersburg and Tampa over a weekend, specifically beginning Friday after 5 pm and continuing through Saturday and Sunday. The move includes packing, transporting, and setting up office furniture, with employees responsible for packing their own personal items using materials provided by the movers.

Key details include the disposal of ten file cabinets, one modular desk with storage, one office chair, and most shelving from a file room. The moving company will need to provide boxes and crates, and there will be on-site contacts at each location to guide furniture placement. Elevators will be available, and trucks should park according to specific instructions (particularly at the St. Petersburg location). The exact move date has not been determined, but the move is expected to be completed within two days if necessary. Electronic equipment handling will be detailed in a separate Attachment A, Scope of Work, and the office staff will pack and label their own contents with packing materials supplied by the movers.
