About this file

This is Addendum 1 to Invitation for Bid IFB-001-27 issued by the Louisville Regional Airport Authority (LRAA) for elastomeric concrete patch products to be used at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and Bowman Field. The addendum updates critical deadlines from the original bid documents. The Authority is seeking bids for elastomeric concrete patch supplies, with an anticipated need of approximately 25 kits per one-year period. The deadline for submitting questions to the Procurement Department has been revised to August 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST, with all inquiries directed to John Wilson at john.wilson@flylouisville.com. The bid due date is August 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST, with public bid opening conducted via teleconference. The contract carries a two-year initial term with two optional one-year renewal periods. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum either with their bid submission or by separate letter no later than the bid due date and time.

Pricing shall be quoted on an FOB destination basis with freight prepaid and included in the unit price, with separate unit pricing required for Years 1 through 4 (Years 3 and 4 being optional renewal periods). Qualified bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience providing elastomeric concrete patch products and supply satisfactory references and evidence of capability to meet Authority standards. The required product must be manufactured by D.S. Brown Company or an approved equivalent—a two-part polyurethane polymer mix with sand and fiberglass strands yielding 3.7 cubic feet per kit. Bidders must provide a $1,000,000 automobile liability insurance certificate naming the Authority as additional insured and maintain Workers' Compensation Insurance. The Authority reserves the right to award based on capability, customer service, value, and concept of operation rather than lowest price alone. Award notification is anticipated within 30 calendar days following the bid due date, though the Authority reserves the option to extend the award decision timeline up to 90 calendar days.
