About this file

This document is an Addendum to a City of Peachtree City solicitation for the Gateway Bridge Landscaping Project. The project involves the demolition, fine grading, preparation, purchasing, and installation of all planting material, hardscape, and mulch for the project site located at the pedestrian bridge landing sites on either side of State Route 54 W. The Addendum provides responses to questions from bidders regarding the project location and the application of mulch/pinestraw. It also clarifies that this is a lump sum bid, with the addition of one alternate price for a two-year maintenance agreement. The solicitation requires unit pricing for potential change orders, and the bid form and agreement form have been revised accordingly.

The bid is due on February 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm local time. The work is to be substantially completed within 90 days and completed and ready for final payment within 120 days. Liquidated damages of $200 per day will be assessed for late completion. Payments will be made monthly with 5% retainage until the project is 50% complete, and then no additional retainage will be held until substantial completion.
