About this file
This addendum #1 clarifies terms and procedures for the Design/Build Medium Pressure UV System project at Royal Oak Middle School Pool. The project involves the design and construction of a medium pressure ultraviolet system for the school's pool facility. A pre-bid meeting was held on April 18, 2019, with an attendee sign-in sheet provided as an attachment. Bidders requiring additional job site visits must contact Mark Paulus or Pat Murphy to schedule access; unscheduled building visits are prohibited. The bid due date remains Monday, April 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM local time. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Mark Paulus at mark.paulus@royaloakschools.org or (248) 880-6791.
The addendum addresses a discrepancy between contract documents regarding warranty duration. The front-end documents specified 18 months while specification section 131500 stated 3 years. This addendum clarifies that the warranty duration shall be 3 years, establishing the binding term for all contractor obligations following system installation and completion.
