About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for a Design/Build Medium Pressure UV System project for Royal Oak Schools, specifically targeting the pool at Royal Oak Middle School. The addendum, issued on April 18, 2019, provides clarification for the bid opportunity with a bid due date of Monday, April 29, 2018, at 11:00 AM local time. For questions, bidders are instructed to contact Mark Paulus or Pat Murphy, and a pre-bid meeting was held on April 18, 2019, with an attached sign-in sheet for attendees. The addendum addresses a specific warranty duration discrepancy, confirming that the warranty period for the project shall be 3 years, resolving a conflict between front-end documents and specification section 131500.
The addendum provides guidelines for potential bidders, emphasizing the importance of scheduling job site visits through designated contacts and prohibiting unscheduled building visits. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, or funding details are disclosed in this document. The focus is on procedural clarification and ensuring potential bidders have consistent information regarding the project's warranty expectations. The project appears to be a focused infrastructure improvement for the school's pool, involving the installation of a medium pressure UV system, with clear communication channels established for potential bidders to seek additional information or clarification.
