About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Schoharie County, New York for a Classification, Compensation, and Staffing Study. The addendum provides clarification and answers to questions received regarding the RFP. It corrects an incorrect email address for technical questions, confirms the anticipated start date, provides the correct email addresses for proposal submissions, and confirms that there is no estimated budget for the work. The addendum also addresses questions regarding the use of a woman-owned small business (WBE) subcontractor, the identification of comparator counties, and the compensation benchmarking methodology.
The RFP seeks a vendor to perform an in-depth analysis of staffing structures, compensation, and job classifications within Schoharie County departments and services. The study aims to ensure the county's compensation and benefits structure is competitive and that job classifications are equitable and professional. The study is expected to last one year and will involve comparing the county's pay, job classifications, and staffing levels to those of similarly sized municipalities and, where appropriate, non-profit and for-profit organizations. There are no set-aside requirements or incumbents identified for this contract.
