About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for the Barefoot Bay Water Treatment Plant Lime Silo Rehabilitation project issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services, with the bid number B#7-25-18. The addendum provides clarifications to prospective bidders regarding specific technical details for a rehabilitation project, with the bid opening scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10 AM. The addendum addresses four key questions about the project, including plate installation specifications for a tank, such as plate circumference, thickness, installation location, and welding requirements.
The addendum confirms that the new plate will cover the entire tank circumference, connect to handrails, and require a leak-proof installation. The county prefers the plate to match existing thickness or be thicker if possible, with a preference for exterior installation or cutting and welding in place. The welding must be a continuous, leak-proof weld/seam. All other terms and conditions of the original bid package remain unchanged, and bidders are requested to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their price sheet when submitting their bid.
