About this file
This document is an Addendum 1 issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services for a bid (Bid#B7-25-30) concerning Above Ground Diesel Storage Tanks, dated December 23, 2024. The bid solicits 1000-gallon DW Fireguard diesel storage tanks to be delivered to four locations, with the county responsible for installing concrete pads. The bid opening is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM, and no changes to the original bid terms have been made except for clarifying specific details through a series of questions and answers.
The addendum provides critical clarifications about the project scope, including that the contractor is only responsible for providing and delivering the tanks, with no requirements for installation, permits, or accessories. The county will handle permit fees at the Brevard County Building Department. Insurance requirements are detailed, including General Liability with a $1,000,000 combined single limit, Auto Liability, Workers' Compensation meeting Florida Statutory limits, and potential Professional Liability coverage. The document also confirms that Buy America or Buy American provisions do not apply to this project, and no existing tanks will be removed as part of this procurement.
