About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the Root River State Trail Bank Stabilization project in Houston County. The addendum addresses questions received from vendors regarding the project, including the availability of a 2021 Preliminary Engineering Report (which does not exist) and whether the project will require trail design (it will not, as the existing trail will not be relocated or altered). The overall project involves providing final plans, specifications, and technical services during construction to stabilize and reconstruct the riverbank along the Root River State Trail north of Houston.

The contract opportunity is open to consulting firms, with no indication of set-asides or incumbents. Funding requirements and sources are not specified, but the project is being managed by the DNR's Operations Services Division and Parks and Trails Division.
