About this file
This document is Addendum #1 issued by the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) Second Supervisory District of Suffolk County in New York, addressing a solicitation for Chromebook and iPad protective covers. The procurement (#23/24-47E3-MB) seeks to contract with a vendor to supply protective cases, with two distinct line items: 30 units for one district and 100 units (potentially more) for another district, all to be delivered to single locations respectively. The addendum specifically addresses a vendor's inquiry about delivery logistics, confirming that inside delivery is required and clarifying potential future ordering possibilities throughout the year.
The addendum provides vendors an opportunity to seek clarification on delivery specifications and requires interested bidders to sign and return the document with their bid submission. While specific pricing details are not included in this addendum, the procurement appears designed to establish a flexible contract that can accommodate potential additional orders from various districts within the BOCES network. The document is dated May 23, 2023, and is signed by Lorraine Hein, CPPB, Director of Business, indicating an active procurement process for educational technology protective equipment.

Addendum #1
CHROMEBOOK AND IPAD PROTECTIVE COVERS #23/24-47E3-MB
May 23, 2023 To Whom It May Concern:
Listed below is the response to a question posed by a vendor:
Question:
For the delivery of the cases… since inside delivery is required, we will need to know the location of each building and the quantity of cases going to that location. Unless you can have them all shipped to a central location, and divide them out from there… this will help save on shipping.
Response:
The quantity for item #1 is 30 and will be shipped to one district (all to one location). The quantity for item #2 is 100, but possibly more and will be shipped to a different district (all to one location). BUT – there is always the chance of more deliveries and orders to other districts throughout the year.
All other specifications remain the same. Please sign and return the attached addendum with your bid submission.
