About this file

This is Addendum #1 to the bid documents for the Town of Greenburgh's 2026 Proposed Milling and Resurfacing of Various Streets project, issued by the Town of Greenburgh Bureau of Engineering on July 14, 2026. The project consists of milling approximately 120,000 square yards of pavement and placing approximately 15,000 tons of new asphaltic pavement on various streets throughout the Town of Greenburgh, New York. The addendum provides responses to sixteen Request for Information (RFI) inquiries and includes an updated bid sheet. Key clarifications address joint sealing at paving limits (to be sealed and paid under Alternate 2 Highway Joint Sealants), chip seal locations (two streets to be determined), Town Hall parking lot work parameters (night work from 9 PM to 6 AM), contractor responsibility for pavement markings with stenciling after cooling and permanent stripes within one week, and bituminous binder course application (60-ton minimum for roads requiring additional asphalt after milling). Item 10 for 250 square feet of concrete sidewalks has been removed from the bid proposal.

The bid sheet identifies fourteen line items including inductance loop wire assembly (800 linear feet), white and yellow reflectorized pavement stripes (10,000 linear feet each), and reflectorized pavement letters and symbols. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt and agreement with the addendum conditions. The document does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or award dates. No business enterprises have been awarded identical or substantially similar procurement contracts within the past five years.
