About this file
This document is an addendum to a request for proposal (RFP) issued by the Oregon Military Department (OMD) for architectural services related to seismic upgrades at the Owen Summers Readiness Center in Marion County and the City of Salem. The scope of work includes designing architectural changes necessary to make the facility spaces complete and usable following the seismic upgrades, such as separating the attic from the soffit areas, replacing sheetrock in the soffit areas, and correcting the roofing valley. The consultant shall also estimate the costs of the seismic and architectural work, develop a combined bid package, submit the package for plan review, and provide construction administration support if authorized. The project budget is estimated at $12 million.
The consultant's compensation shall not exceed set percentages of the estimated construction costs for the different phases of basic services, with a maximum not-to-exceed price of $0 for all services and reimbursable expenses. Reimbursable expenses are limited to specific categories and must comply with State of Oregon travel policies.
