About this file
This is Addendum 1 to a medical oxygen and carbon dioxide procurement issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia on October 27, 2021. The addendum addresses bidder inquiries regarding the annual contract for medical gas supply and provides clarification on deployment requirements and timeline. The county estimates initial deployment will require 595 D Cylinders, 140 M Cylinders, 4 M6 Cylinders, and 3 CO2 Cylinders to meet the full contracted amount. Gwinnett County anticipates announcing the contract award prior to January 1, 2022, with a transition period of approximately 2-3 business days if the award is made to a new supplier. Bidders are required to sign and return the addendum with their proposals, with failure to do so potentially resulting in a non-responsive bid determination.
The addendum notes that Gwinnett County currently owns three H Cylinders, which may factor into the overall supply requirements and contract specifications. No pricing terms, set-asides, or funding information is provided in this addendum document. This addendum serves as a mandatory component of the proposal submission process and clarifies operational expectations for contract performance.
