About this file

This document contains a Question and Answer (Q&A) Amendment related to a federal contract opportunity for Court Reporting Services. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking a qualified, experienced, and certified court reporting service to provide verbatim reporting and transcribing transcripts for various proceedings such as fact-findings, review boards, hearings, administrative investigations, and depositions for Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) claims. The contract requires the contractor to have a Secret or Top Secret facility clearance, and all personnel performing work must also have the appropriate clearance. The contract does not allow for digital, electronic, or voice writer reporting, and the DOL will not sponsor clearances or a DD254 form. Travel expenses will only be reimbursed if directed and pre-approved by the Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer's Representative. The current incumbent is York Stenographic Services, Inc. under contract number 1605C3-23-F-00007, but the historical contract amounts are not an indicator of future order value.
