About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the United States Forest Service (USFS) involving the refurbishment of the Canby Station communication shelter located in Modoc Forest, California. The project requires replacing the roof, exterior walls, and trim of a 15' x 18' stand-alone shelter, with specific requirements including installing new plywood decking, PBR panel roofing, T111 siding, and painting in Benjamin Moore Light Yellow. The work must be completed within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed, with a preliminary project schedule due 10 days after contract award.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a market survey seeking qualified vendors for the project, with an estimated cost between $10,000-$30,000. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a competitive Firm Fixed Price contract to the lowest responsive bidder, with a preference for small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), and 8(a) program participants. Interested vendors must submit responses electronically by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on August 14, 2025, including statements of capability, past performance, business approach, and a rough order of magnitude estimate for the required services.
