GEOLOGIC INVESTIGATION

PART 1

1.01 GENERAL

A. General:

1. The Bureau of Reclamation has completed three exploration programs at Pasture Canyon to develop geotechnical design data.

2. The programs were a geotechnical drilling program, cone penetrometer testing (CPT) program, and an investigation to develop borrow material from a nearby source.

3. These data are contained in the following Sections:

a. Section 53 10 00 - Geologic Investigation contains the “2010 Geologic Investigation, Pasture Canyon Dam, Tuba City, Arizona, Bureau of Indian Affairs”.

b. Section 53 10 15 - Cone Penetrometer Tests contains the “Technical Memorandum MERL-2012-35, Results of Cone Penetrometer Tests, Pasture Canyon Dam, Tuba City, Arizona, Bureau of Indian Affairs”.

c. Section 53 20 00 - Records of Geologic and Subsurface Investigations.

1.01 ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
