About this file

This is a FAQ document about EKOS, a SaaS cloud-based Fuel Management System, being considered as part of a Gasboy software upgrade for the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region. EKOS offers four integrated modules: Fuel Site (for equipment and inventory monitoring), Bulk Fuel (for ordering and dispatching), Fleet Maintenance (for garage operations management), and Fuel Card (for transaction management).

The system operates on EKOS's private network with NIST SP800 Standards compliance, using TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 security protocols, and meets PCI, HIPPA, SOC1 and SOC2 requirements. Key technical features include SAML 2.0 single sign-on capability, browser-agnostic access, direct integration with Gasboy fuel management controllers, compatibility with various tank inventory monitors, and three connectivity options: Customer LAN, Edge Technology via VPN, or Private Cellular Network. The system includes standard and customizable reporting features, allows unlimited users, supports proprietary cards, and provides implementation management support for customer onboarding.
