ATTACHMENT #6
SECTION 508 INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS
SECTION 508 – 36 CFR 1194, the Access Board’s Final Rule, requires Federal agencies, when developing, procuring, maintaining, or using Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) products and/or service, to ensure that the product and/or service provides access to both Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities. Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities must have access to and use of information and data comparable to those without disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on the agency.
SECTION 508 CONFORMANCE - This solicitation includes a requirement for Internal Controls Support Services to support the Treasury Executive Office of Asset Forfeiture. The Government must procure the product that best meets the applicable Access Board Standards.
The application of 36 CFR 1194.2 does not apply to Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) that meet the exemptions described at FAR 39.204.

Utilizing the chart located in below, the offeror shall indicate the level of compliance of all Section 508 products that they propose to deliver under the resultant contract. The chart uses the same EIT section categories and numbering scheme as the original Access Board Standards.
