About this file
This document is a technical evaluation factors draft for a federal contract opportunity related to the installation of commercial Airborne Imaging Systems (AIS) and Special Mission Equipment on government-owned aircraft in support of DEA law enforcement missions.
The key technical evaluation factors include: 1) Technical Capabilities, which will evaluate the offeror's proposed solutions and ability to satisfy the requirements for various aircraft types; 2) Past Performance, which will assess the offeror's experience installing and integrating similar airborne systems; and 3) Corporate Capabilities, which will evaluate the offeror's quality control plan and ability to provide the required deliverables.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for the installation of commercial AIS on Cessna 206, Cessna 208, Bell 407, and Bell 412 aircraft. It is a small business set-aside anticipated to result in a single Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, firm-fixed price contract with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The Request for Proposals is expected to be posted on SAM.gov, with proposals due approximately 15 days after the RFP is issued.
