About this file
This document is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the installation of commercial Airborne Imaging Systems (AIS) and Mission Equipment on various government-owned aircraft operated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Aviation Division.
The SOO outlines the requirements to install AIS and Mission Equipment on Cessna 206 and 208 aircraft, Bell 407 and 412 helicopters. The contractor will be responsible for procuring, installing, integrating, and certifying the AIS and Mission Equipment in accordance with applicable FAA regulations. The period of performance is a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The government anticipates awarding a single indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery (IDIQ), firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will be a small business set-aside with proposals due 15 days after the RFP is issued. The government will provide certain equipment as government-furnished property, while the contractor must acquire the remaining components. The contractor will also be required to provide operator and maintenance training.
