About this file

These are the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) for the Little Rockies Recreation Maintenance 2026 contract, which covers maintenance services for multiple recreation sites from May 1 through November 30. The plans detail three primary maintenance requirements: (1) Cleaning facilities three times per week, involving 5 restrooms, 25 garbage cans, and 4 drinking fountains; (2) Cleaning once weekly, covering 32 camping/picnic areas, 2.5 miles of road areas, and 4 kiosk/fee collection areas; and (3) Mowing five times per year at Montana Gulch Campground, Camp Creek Campground, Buff's Day Area, Horse Corral Campground, and Camp Host Area.

Each Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan specifies detailed inspection procedures, including maximum allowable defect rates (5%), sampling methods (100% visual inspection), and surveillance levels. The plans outline that inspections will be conducted using pre-printed evaluation work sheets, with locations including Camp Creek Campground, Horse Corral Campground, Buff's Day Area, Camp Host Area, Montana Gulch Campground, and Dry Fork Road. The surveillance approach allows for adjusting inspection frequency based on contractor performance, with the option to move between normal (2 inspections/month) and minimum (1 inspection/month) levels depending on observed defect rates.
