About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the decommissioning of a 2021 Dodge 2500 truck and upfitting of a 2025 Ford F250 Tremor truck for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Arizona Region. The vehicle upfitting involves comprehensive law enforcement vehicle modifications, including installing emergency equipment such as a 54" tri-color flagship light bar, siren/light controller, IR lights, radio systems, prisoner cage, console modifications, and various electronic components. The contractor must be located within 150 miles of Saint George, UT, and is required to have specific qualifications including Motorola certification, GSA contractor management, and expertise in vehicle modification and safety equipment installation.
Key requirements include a one-year warranty for workmanship and specialized equipment, with a vehicle build time of no later than 45 working days after vehicle delivery. The SOW specifies detailed installation specifications for roof-mounted equipment, electronics, console modifications, emergency lighting configurations, and prisoner transport options. The contractor must provide a comprehensive invoice detailing all work completed, including line-item matching, parts and labor costs, and must consult with BLM representatives for any modifications or additional equipment needs. The project involves transferring some existing emergency equipment from the 2021 Dodge to the new 2025 Ford F250, ensuring continuity of the law enforcement vehicle's functionality.
