About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a security camera replacement project for Assateague Island National Seashore (ASIS) in Berlin, Maryland. The National Park Service seeks a contractor with at least 5 years of security system installation experience to remove existing security infrastructure and install a new low-voltage communication cabling security system across multiple park locations, including entrance booths, a ranger station, and visitor center. The project requires installing Axis brand cameras (specific models including outdoor/indoor dome, panoramic, license plate, and corner cameras) at seven designated coverage areas, with a minimum of 1-4 cameras per location focusing on money collection, general observation, and entry points.

The contract has a 120-calendar day performance period, with work to be conducted Monday-Friday between 7:00 am-3:30 pm ET. The new system must integrate with Milestone VMS XProtect Corporate 2023 R3 recording software, use Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras with specific technical requirements, and meet extensive cabling and network infrastructure standards. Key deliverables include detailed documentation, IP device mapping, installation plans, and system configuration. The project emphasizes environmental adaptability, network security compliance, and future expandability, with cameras needing to withstand barrier island conditions including salt spray, high winds, and extreme UV exposure.
