About this file
This is a detailed preventative maintenance procedures document (Attachment 2) outlining the required maintenance tasks for machine shop equipment at TEAD (Tooele Army Depot). The document specifies comprehensive maintenance protocols across multiple systems including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, air/lubrication, coolant, spindle, automatic pallet charger, automatic tool charger, and auxiliary systems.
The procedures require technicians to perform specific inspections, checks, and maintenance tasks on each system component, with all documentation meeting ISO standards and being electronically recorded for historical tracking. Key maintenance areas include checking oil levels, pressure readings, and leaks in hydraulic systems; inspecting electrical connections and voltages; verifying machine leveling and alignment; maintaining proper lubrication and coolant systems; cleaning and lubricating tool changers and spindles; and performing calibrations. The document appears to support a solicitation (W519TC-25-R-2015) for machine shop preventative maintenance services at TEAD, being managed by the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Rock Island Arsenal.
