About this file
This is an Equipment General Requirements document for a Theatrical Rigging contract opportunity with the City of Phoenix, Arizona. The document outlines comprehensive specifications for two primary systems: a Fire Curtain System and an Acoustic Ceiling System. The Fire Curtain System includes motorized fire curtains, release mechanisms, control stations, mechanical components (motors, brakes, gear reducers), rigging elements (release lines, lift lines, turnbuckles), smoke pockets, and fabric curtains. The Acoustic Ceiling System comprises one counterweighted assisted hoist, one dead haul hoist, parking air brakes, a Motor Control Center with programmable logic controller, two air compressors, a shared main control station with touch screen interface, and various mechanical and rigging components including cable drums, sprockets, arbors, and lift line assemblies. Both systems include detailed specifications for controls, mechanical assemblies, and rigging infrastructure necessary for theatrical stage operations.
The document serves as a technical specification attachment and does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, renewal options, funding sources, or award timelines. These details would be contained in the primary solicitation documents for the City of Phoenix Theatrical Rigging contract opportunity.
