About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Dectris PILATUS4 CdTe Detector issued by Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) through Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA). The RFQ specifies procurement of one detector with Part No. 802118, featuring a 368.4 mm x 389.1 mm active area, 400Hz framerate, full bit depth, and speed upgradable to 1K, including a detector server, chiller, and accessories.
The Statement of Work outlines detailed requirements including factory testing with potential BNL technical personnel present, delivery and commissioning at the XPD beamline of NSLS-II, provision of operating manuals and documentation, compliance with NSLS-II IT policies, supply of necessary cables and connectors, and a one-year warranty from site acceptance testing. The requested delivery timeline is 18 months from order, and the document indicates this is part of a market research effort to identify potential sources for this scientific instrumentation using NAICS code 334516 with a size standard of 1,000 employees.
