About this file
This amendment to the solicitation provides responses to questions from potential offerors and makes changes to the question submission deadline and quote due date. The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency is seeking linen services for the Re-Entry and Sanctions Center, with a small business set-aside. The incumbent is Eggleston Services. The amendment confirms the linen and towel quantities in the solicitation account for three linen rotations per bed. Quotes shall be based on the information in the solicitation.

Solicitation 9594CS23Q0058 Amendment 0001
SF30 Block 14, Continued
a. This amendment provides responses to questions received.
Question #1: Can you tell me who the incumbent is for this solicitation?
Response: The incumbent is Eggleston Services. The previous award was set aside for the AbilityOne Program; however, this new acquisition is a Small Business set aside, as in the solicitation.
Question #2: Replacement Cost’ for various items, however, there is no place to submit the price for those items. Are you still interested in our replacement cost for each of those items?
Response: The replacement costs quoted are to be entered into the table labeled “Replacement Cost” in Attachment J-3, Solicitation Price Sheet.
Question #3: The scope of work is stating that weekly deliveries by unit should be built to meet 3 changes per bed per unit. The quantity calculations in the scope do add up to 3 changes for 44 beds as well as 2 towels and 2 wash cloths per. The issue is that the annual weight listed on the price sheet does not match these quantities. The weights listed above are clean dry weights. and are the weights used to calculate the per pound pricing. These pieces multiplied by the quantities total 907.63 lbs. per week, 47,192 lbs. per year. Please let me know where the discrepancy lies.
Response: The linen and towel quantities identified in section C.4.2 are correct. This does account for “three linen rotations per bed”. This is based on:
• One linen set is on the bed;
• One linen set is soiled (to be picked up for cleaning); and
• One clean linen set remains in the facility storage closet.
No change to the solicitation is required. Quotes shall be submitted based on the information included in the solicitation.
b. Section L.5, Due Date for Submission of Questions is changed as follows (change in red font):
“L.5 Due Date for Submission of Questions. Questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted via electronic mail (Subject Line: Solicitation 9594CS23Q0058, RSC Linen Services - Questions) to matthew.collins@csosa.gov and valerie.wallace@csosa.gov no later than 12:00pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on August 10, 2023. Questions must be…”
c. Section L.6.2, is changed as follows to match the quote due date identified in SAM.gov as the date in the solicitation has a typographical error (changes in red font):
“L.6.2 Quotations must be received no later than August 14, 2023 at 5:00pm EDT.
Entities submitting a quote shall assume full responsibility for ensuring that the submission is received to the email address identified above no later than the established due date and time.
