The CFPB is seeking to retain detailed, nationwide information on consumer personal lending and credit card data, including trended, long-term data on originations, outstanding loan balances, and delinquency rates, split by credit risk tier and originating entity type. The vendor will provide this data to CFPB staff who will use it to produce market intelligence products on consumer credit trends, small dollar lending, and credit cards. The Q&A clarifies that the vendor will provide the data from their own database(s), and that the dataset does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII) on individuals.
