About this file

This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding a contract award for the Strawberry Ridge Point of Pines Lop and Scatter project under the Department of Natural Resources. The project involves lop and scatter services to be performed according to the detailed Scope of Work provided in Attachment B. There was no mandatory site visit required for this Invitation for Bid (IFB), and the solicitation was limited to prequalified contractors only. The contract is anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. All awarded work must be completed no later than December 1, 2026, with the vendor required to guarantee its pricing through project completion.

The award notification does not constitute an executed contract until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services sign the formal contract or issue an executed purchase order. The awarded vendor must not begin work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until this execution occurs. Vendors are reminded that any protests of the award decision must be submitted to the Procurement Officer in writing within seven days of the notice issuance, clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the protest. Awarded vendors will be contacted via phone or email with next steps in the contracting process.
