About this file
This attachment document outlines use cases for the Maryland Judiciary Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) Master Contract for Electrical Services, detailing four distinct electrical service projects across multiple District Court locations in Maryland. The first use case involves installing three duplex electrical outlets at the Westminster District Court House in three specific rooms to support camera monitors, with power fed from existing circuits and no permits required. The second use case requires relocating and replacing nine existing surface-mounted electrical, data, and microphone receptacles with flush-mounted floor boxes in the Upper Marlboro District Court courtroom, including core drilling of the slab and repositioning fixtures two feet back toward the gallery rail. The third use case calls for installing two electrical disconnects for ductless mini-split HVAC units at the Harford County District Court, with specified voltage and amperage requirements, and potential assessment for core drilling needs. The fourth use case involves disconnecting power from seven existing workstations and reconnecting to seven new workstations in the Denton District Court clerk's area using existing circuits and a new whip power base feed, with no permits required and contractor availability during installation for verification.
Each use case includes detailed labor category line items for pricing purposes, specifying quantities in hours for Electrical Helper/Apprentice, Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, Electrical Foreman/Lead Electrician, Electrical Project Manager, and Electrical Engineer positions. The document provides specific scope details and technical requirements for each project, including equipment specifications, material requirements, and site-specific conditions such as existing infrastructure constraints and renovation considerations. These use cases serve as standardized project templates for contractors responding to the Master Contract RFP, establishing baseline expectations for the types and complexity of electrical services the AOC anticipates requiring across its service regions.
