About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for Bid B-2606AM Musical Instruments issued by Gwinnett County Public Schools, dated 10/17/2025. The addendum provides updates and clarifications for various musical instrument and accessory line items, specifically addressing discontinued models and acceptable substitutions. Vendors who have already submitted bids are instructed to withdraw their current submission, update their bid table, and re-submit if they wish to bid on the modified items.
The addendum includes specific substitution approvals, such as replacing the Selmer 1430LP with a Yamaha YCL-221II Bass Clarinet, accepting Yamaha MBC-9600 carriers instead of Randall May carriers, and approving alternative guitar cases from Gator. Additionally, the document notes several discontinued models for Yamaha carriers and Zildjian cymbals, requiring vendors to quote updated models or include standard accessories like straps and pads. The changes are intended to provide clarity and flexibility for bidders while ensuring the school district can procure the necessary musical instruments and equipment.
