About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) exhibit for Solicitation 89503625QSW000182, providing clarifying details about a Liquid Oxygen (LOX) contract with the Southeastern Power Administration (SWPA). The Q&A reveals that the annual LOX requirement ranges from 545 to 654 Tons, with deliveries typically occurring between July 1st and December 31st. Standard delivery sizes are 4,250 to 8,500 gallons (equivalent to 20-40 Tons), with a frequency of 1-3 times per week, dependent on lake reservoir dissolved oxygen levels. The facility has two 11,000-gallon storage tanks without telemetry units. SWPA's annual requirement is primarily determined by lake reservoir dissolved oxygen levels, wholesale electric energy demands, and replacement costs. The document also notes an industry-standard billing adjustment from Standard Cubic Feet (ScF) to Compressed Cubic Feet (CCF), with a corresponding update to the Price Schedule.
