About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) exhibit for Solicitation 89503625QSW000182, providing detailed information about a Liquid Oxygen (LOX) contract for the Southeastern Power Administration (SWPA). The Q&A reveals that the annual LOX requirement ranges from 545 to 654 Tons, with deliveries typically occurring between July 1st and December 31st. Standard delivery sizes are 4,250 to 8,500 gallons (20 to 40 Tons), with a frequency of 1-3 times per week, contingent on lake reservoir dissolved oxygen levels and energy demands. The facility has two 11,000-gallon storage tanks, and the LOX procurement is primarily influenced by lake reservoir dissolved oxygen levels, wholesale electric energy demands, and replacement costs. The document also clarifies that the tanks do not have telemetry units accessible to the contractor.
