SDheman: SDheman:

A hostname (aka hostname or computer name) is the name of a server on a network Environment SDheman: SDheman:

Environment refers to the collection of HW and SW tools for a system e.g. Prodution vs Non-Production environment Platform SDheman: SDheman:

A platform is any HW or SW used to host an application or service. An application platform e.g .NET, consists of hardware, an operating system e.g UNIX/Linux and a particular processor Instance ID SDheman: SDheman:

Instance ID provides a unique ID per instance of an application and is provided by the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Instance Type SDheman: SDheman:

Instance type determines the HW of the host computer used for the instance. Each Instance type offers different memory and storage capabilities and are grouped in instance families e.g. the virtual machine is M3Large has a predictable amount of CPU capacity. It is provided by CSP Region SDheman: SDheman:

A region is a geographical/data center location of hosting the resources provided by CSP State: Running Yes/No SDheman: SDheman:

Instance is running or not DECOMMISSIONED Yes/No SDheman: SDheman:

If any Instance ID is decommisssioned or deactivated Storage Allocation (GB) SDheman: SDheman:

The storage capacity of instance Type IP Address SDheman: SDheman:

An IP address is a binary number that uniquely identifies computers and other devices on a network VM OS SDheman: SDheman:

A virtual machine is a software computer that, like a physical computer, runs an operating system and applications. The virtual machine is comprised of a set of specification and configuration files and is backed by the physical resources of a host. Every virtual machine has virtual devices that provide the same functionality as physical hardware and have additional benefits in terms of portability, manageability, and security. This can be provided by the Cloud provider or could be managed by an application vendor AngularJS SDheman: SDheman:

Columns L to AQ lists example of applications hosted by the vendor. List all the application that are currently being hosted by the application Vendor along with the version numbers e.g. AngularJS, BootStrap etc. Apache pdfbox Apache Tika Apache Tomcat 7.x Aspire Enterprise BootStrap Font Awesome Heritrix Crawler ImageMagick iText Image Manipulation [vips] jQuery MapDB Maven McAfee Enterprise Virus Scan (Linux -Command Line Scanner) McAfee Enterprise Virus Scan (Windows) Microsoft Windows Server 2012 MySQL Open Seadragon Pdf.js (Version 1.0.21) PRTG Network Monitor PuTTy v.60 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (64 bit) Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (AWS) Splunk Add-on for Unix and Linux Splunk Enterprise Splunk Forwarder Spring Model-View-Controller (MVC) Solr Cloud Tripwire Enterprise Agent Tripwire Server Zookeeper Comment
