About this file
This document contains a firm review sheet for underwriting a federal housing loan and the related federal contract opportunity for loan underwriting services. The firm review sheet provides instructions for HUD officials to review loan commitment documents for correctness and consistency regarding borrower and property information, loan terms, repair costs, insurance requirements, and required exhibits. It includes a template for a maximum insurable loan calculation form.
The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from HUD seeking proposals for loan underwriting services. It has a NAICS code of 524126 with a small business size standard of 1,500. The acquisition is set aside entirely for vendors in the 8(a) program. Offerors must register in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. Proposals are due by the date specified in the solicitation, with award anticipated shortly thereafter. The contractor will be required to provide loan underwriting services to HUD.
