No. The vendor will be responsible for underwriting properties identified in the HUD approved lender’s application for FHA-insured mortgage insurance. Mortgage insurance should not to be confused with other forms of insurance (e.g. property insurance; casualty insurance; builder’s risk insurance). It is not anticipated that the vendor would be an insurer of any kind.
Q15
Regarding the Solicitation package “Copy of Attachment 10 Schedule of Services”, please confirm the Base Period CLINS are to reflect the same CLIN Descriptions as listed in the Option Periods (e.g., CLIN 0002 is not “BASE PERIOD: TRAVEL SUPPORT/Multifamily Office (See PWS 5.6)” but rather “BASE PERIOD:LOAN INSURANCE UNDERWRITING FOR 232/223(f) Healthcare Program (See PWS 5.1)”, etc. (please see Attachment)

How many past performance examples should be provided?

Page 56 indicates the Pricing Proposal shall include a narrative discussion of “associated cost and historical data for each task”. Will the historical cost HUD has paid in the past for each of these services be provided in order to more accurately respond?
