Scope of Work The Statement of Work (SOW) applies to all current and future National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) human spaceflight Programs and Projects, including associated payloads, sub-systems, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Commercial Furnished Equipment (CFE), that are performed during the contract’s period of performance. This SOW and all documents referenced herein define the Government’s requirements for Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) products and services.

This SOW requires the contractor to review work performed by other contractors, Commercial Partners, International Partners (IPs) and other NASA centers. The majority of the work is performed at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. JSC is defined herein to include locations at the White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Ellington Field, and the Sonny Carter Training Facility. Resident support is also required at the White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Contractor resident support may be required at other NASA centers, contractor or subcontractor locations, or supplier facilities. Resident support may be a hybrid of both on-site and off-site via telework, as required by the Task Orders (TOs) as defined below. Travel costs for IDIQ requirements will be negotiated on a task order basis.

IDIQ requirements may change year-to-year and are negotiated each year and implemented as TOs. The Government may request, terminate or change IDIQ TOs at any time during the period of performance.
