About this file

This document contains additional requirements for a state and local contract opportunity for "All Season Cold Patch" issued by the Nevada Department of Transportation (DOT). The contract is primarily for use by the Nevada DOT, but orders may also be placed by the Nevada State Purchasing Division or other state agencies, cities, counties, or political subdivisions. The contract will be awarded on an "as needed" basis, and the quantities listed are estimates only. Bidders are restricted to specific products listed in the bid specifications and the DOT's Qualified Product List. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified.

The pricing terms include that price increases will not be honored during the initial contract term, and vendors may request to have their contract cancelled if they cannot honor the bid price due to supplier price increases. Invoices must include the requisition or purchase order number and delivery ticket number. The awarded vendor must provide $1 million in commercial general liability insurance coverage, and the State of Nevada must be named as an additional insured.
