About this file
This is a price sheet for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 200169 for mosquito control products from a Kentucky jurisdiction, as evidenced by the US and KY EPA approval requirements throughout the document. The procurement seeks pricing for various mosquito control chemicals including adulticides (adult mosquito killers), larvicides (mosquito larvae killers), and pupacides (mosquito pupae killers). Products requested include methoprene-based larvicides in 30-day and 150-day briquette formulations, bacillus sphaericus granular and water-soluble products, spinosad tablets, surface oils, dual-action adulticides, and various mosquito adulticides with specific active ingredients like permethrin, pyrethrin, etofenprox, and chlorpyrifos. All products must meet specific technical requirements including EPA approvals, active ingredient percentages, shipping timeframes within 14 days, low non-target toxicity, and various residual treatment periods ranging from 21 days to 180 days depending on the product.
The pricing structure requires bidders to provide cost per application acre for adulticides at a standardized dosage rate of 0.003 lbs of active ingredient per acre, while larvicides and pupacides are priced per area treated (square yard or acre) at maximum dosage rates. Products are offered with both per-area and per-unit pricing options (per pellet, tablet, briquet, etc.). Technical specifications emphasize environmental safety with requirements for low non-target toxicity, compatibility with integrated pest management practices, low groundwater contamination potential, and various application methods including non-thermal ground ULV application. Additional service requirements include yearly calibration of health department equipment and product packaging limitations to 55-gallon drums or smaller containers, with some products limited to 5-gallon containers or less.

IFB200169 Price Sheet
Pricing
Lowest bid price for adulticide products shall be based on cost of application per acre at the dosage rate of .003 lbs of active ingredient per acre (PBO should not be considered as an active ingredient for the purposes of calculating this figure). This represents the price to treat a standard area at a specific dosage of pesticide in order to evaluate the cost effectiveness of the product not price per product weight/volume/%active ingredient. A specific dollar value is required for this qualification in the following format: $ per acre @ .003 lbs Active Ingredient application rate.
Lowest bid price for larvacides and pupacide products shall be based on the cost per area treated at the highest dosage rate (e.g. cost to treat per square yard or per acre [1 acre = 4840 square yards]). A specific dollar value is required for this qualification in the following format: $ per acre or $ per square yard.
