About this file

This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intent to award a contract for bullhog services in Box Elder County under solicitation AM27-14 KEG Springs - Bullhog Phase 2. The project encompasses up to 1,704 acres and is limited to pre-qualified contractors only. The contract performance period runs from September 22, 2026, through March 12, 2027. No mandatory site visit is required for this solicitation. The award was determined using a lowest cost per acre methodology, resulting in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.

The vendor selected for award must guarantee its pricing through project completion and cannot begin work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a purchase order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed PO or signed contract creates a contractual obligation. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any protests regarding the award decision. All protests must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer and must clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the protest.
